We already know that Nonviolent Communicationsm is an excellent tool for preventing and resolving conflicts, for transforming anger, guilt, shame and depression, and for creating a high quality of connection through which people enjoy spontaneously contributing to one another’s well-being. We’ve also heard that NVC is a powerful ally for creating social change. How does this work? How do we define social change?

In this course we’ll explore what is meant by social change in NVC. We will also hear stories describing specific examples of how NVC is used in social change situations. Participants will have an opportunity to role-play situations, and to ask questions about their own application of NVC in social change situations. The basics of NVC will not be covered or reviewed. This course is intended for those who consider themselves to be at an intermediate or advanced level in their NVC practice.

Register for this telecourse to:

  • Learn how to take NVC beyond the sphere of interpersonal relationships and into the realm of social change

  • Hear examples and stories of applying NVC in social change situations
